Job Description
Position Title: Legal Research Clerk
Department: Loan Operations
Location: Wichita, KS
Status: Full-Time / Hourly
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Productivity
- Responsible for file management; document scanning, file building, and vault filing
- Intake and process loan related mail
- Build/clear loan exceptions in loan tickler system
- Assist collateral reviews and audits
- Follow record retention requirements including periodic vault review for closed loans
- Working to continually develop and improve internal procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Compliance / Regulation
- Responsible for following all aspects of Bank Policy’s including but not limited to, Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Record Retention Requirements, and Bank Secrecy Act, and completing all required Compliance Course work.
Required Skills & Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in banking or finance related industry preferred
- Communication skills
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible
- Organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment as well independently
- Exhibit exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

Work Environment: This position regularly works in an office setting. Most of the job duties require the employee to be working with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
