As a key member of the project team, this role involves managing relationships and communication flow with clients, design professionals, internal personnel, and specialty trade partners. The individual will contribute collaboratively alongside both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities include creating and managing construction budgets, encompassing the prime contract, subcontracts, and change orders. The role also requires writing effective scopes of work for subcontracts and overseeing submittal procurement in advance of the project schedule. Regular duties include conducting Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) progress meetings at project sites throughout the construction phase, preparing timely draw requests, and offering input to project schedules based on experience and foresight. Additionally, the individual is expected to integrate their personal experience with the company’s processes and culture to enhance project outcomes.

Manage relationships and communication flow with clients, design professionals, Straub personnel and specialty trade partners

Contribute to project teams, working alongside both internal and external stakeholders

Create and manage construction budgets including prime contract, subcontracts and change orders

Effectively write scopes of work for subcontracts and manage submittal procurement ahead of project schedule

Conduct OAC progress meetings at project sites throughout construction

Prepare timely draw requests

Offer input to project schedules based off experience and foresight

Integrate shared personal experience with Straub’s processes and culture

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors in Construction Management or Engineering, etc.

2-5+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager working on ground-up commercial projects Background in general construction

Experience using Procore
