Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all maintenance personnel responsible for mechanical and electrical equipment repairs
- Maximize equipment uptime while improving productivity, efficiency, and product quality
- Promote and enforce all plant safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs
- Coordinate machine overhauls and major maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime
- Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance
- Recruit, train, mentor, evaluate, and develop maintenance team members while managing performance and disciplinary actions as needed
- Partner with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of equipment and facility issues
- Collaborate with plant leadership to plan and execute capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance department budget
- Oversee facility maintenance operations to ensure the building and infrastructure remain safe and operational
