Position Summary

Perform responsibilities necessary to generate and update all production planning.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate all production planning documentation per customer specifications, engineering documents and models.

  • Generate manufacturing planning for rework work orders when needed.

  • Maintain manufacturing planning stays current and updated.

  • Generate, submit and track engineering questions to customers.

  • Coordinate customer responses with appropriate departments.

  • Validate outside vendors are approved to customers specifications.

  • Maintain part configuration by reviewing customer change notices, revision changes and PO changes.

  • Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) from customer engineering requirements.

  • Review customer specifications and engineering requirements to ensure all processes and procedures are being met.

Qualifications, Skills, Education, and Experience

  • High School Education or GED. Associate degree preferred but not required.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP system, CATIA/MASTERCAM or similar engineering software.

  • Experience in CNC machining and quality inspection techniques.

  • Comprehension of customer specifications and blueprints.

  • Understanding of CNC machine capabilities.

  • Must be self-motivated, organized
