Job Description
Summary
The top candidate will work with our highly skilled team to provide construction technology solutions to contractors in a designated territory. This would entail prospecting, account management, business development, and consultative selling. The candidate will consult directly with customers on the most effective technology solutions for their business and jobsite applications, deliver onsite demonstrations and work side-by-side with the Murphy team to deliver outstanding customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Articulate and promote the customer benefits of technology and the value that Murphy Technology Solutions provides for customers.
- Act as the costumer’s jobsite technology consultant.
- Have a clear understanding of grade control activities and applications that take place on customer job sites.
- Account management in an assigned AOR.
- Territory management and prospecting in an assigned AOR.
- Keep up to date with training programs and become proficient with the products we offer.
- Lead customer technology demos and participate in customer events.
- Set-up base stations and rovers and localize jobsites as needed.
- Deliver customer and internal training for machine control and grade management.
- Maintain technology and industry knowledge and expertise.
- Collaborate with our team on new products and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Keep up to date on competitive offerings and differences.
Other Functions
- Assist with other duties assigned and directed by corporate management within the framework of Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc.’s objectives.
