Job Description
Quality Inspector is responsible for examining materials for quality, defects, and workmanship.
Responsible for:
- Performing both in-process and/or final inspections on wire and cable harnesses in accordance with Celltron documented quality plan and other referenced accept/reject criteria.
- Be able to identify/recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.
- Able to identify and provide disposition of nonconforming material per procedure.
- Provide traceability of product, material and calibration of products.
- Obtain the following required certifications:
- IPC J-STD-001 Solder as required
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Acceptability requirement
- ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) certification
- Accurately record results of inspection and testing results.
- Perform additional Quality department duties as assigned or as needed.
- Report directly to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
