Job Description
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (OT 2-3 Fridays a month)

Join a fast-paced manufacturing team where you'll assemble and test production units using hand and power tools, read blueprints, and ensure every product meets strict quality standards. From installing mechanical and electrical components to calibrating parts and preparing finished products for shipment, you'll play a critical role in the production process. This is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Raymore, MO.
Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble and test production units using hand and power tools
- Follow detailed blueprints, work instructions, and procedures
- Calibrate assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, and other production equipment
- Align and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components
- Install and test moving parts such as shafts, gears, and bearings
- Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and fitting of parts
- Monitor product quality and report any defects or issues
- Maintain production schedules to meet daily output goals
- Pack finished products and prepare pallets for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards)
- Report part shortages and assist in maintaining inventory levels (kanban)
- Train and support team members as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Assembler Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in English (bilingual a plus)
- Comfortable standing in a small workspace for 10-hour shifts
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand for up to 10-hour shifts
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
