Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician   

Department: Maintenance

Reports to: Plant Manager        

Job Summary: Maintaining and leading projects associated with the maintenance work on any and all equipment, facility, ect.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain all equipment (forklifts, machinery, compressors, ect,)
• Basic mechanical skills
• Basic electrical knowledge (110-220 single phase)
• Basic plumbing knowledge (plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and repair)
• Basic HVAC knowledge (installation, troubleshooting, and repair)
• Fill out service reports as needed/required
• Willingness to learn and follow direction
• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to follow visual, written, and/or oral instructions
• Complies with all company safety practices and procedures (approach every task with a safety-first mindset)
• Lift heavy objects by hand (up to 50+ pounds)
• Receives and responds appropriately and in a timely manner with all direction or correspondence from plant or corporate personnel

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Industrial maintenance degree preferred, but not required

Position Type | Work Schedule

Job Type: Full Time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00am to 4:30pm, weekends as needed, overtime available

Travel Required: less than 10%
