Job Description

We have 2 openings for Assistant Solder Techs in Wichita, Ks.

This position pays $15.50 and the hours are M-F from 6am to 2:30pm. This is a long-term opportunity and starts asap!

Overview:

The Assistant Solder Tech is responsible for using soldering equipment to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards and STB units.

Daily duties include:

+ Troubleshoots electronics equipment.

+ Solder equipment using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.

+ Use repair equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt meters & soldering irons.

+ Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.

+ Maintain a clean, organized workstation.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Ability to operate test equipment

+ Ability to read schematics

+ Good manual dexterity

+ Possess solder and de-soldering skills

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Must be able to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine)

+ Computer skills are a must for accurate data entry of completed units

+ IPC certs are preferred but not required

Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
