Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Starting Pay: $27.00+/hour (Based on Experience)
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus – Limited Time
Shift Available: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess residents and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and evaluate effectiveness
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to residents and families
• Document care accurately and timely
• Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care
• Delegate and collaborate with CNAs and CMAs
• Promote resident safety and respond to emergencies

Leadership Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing assistants and medication aides
• Assist with staffing assignments and workflow
• Monitor compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Support HIPAA compliance and resident confidentiality
• Provide performance feedback to nursing leadership

Qualifications

• Current Kansas LPN license in good standing
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and resident assistance
• Ability to safely move and transfer residents
• Strong verbal, written, and observational skills
