We are looking for a higher level of experience working on mold injection machines.

Location: Orrick, MO

Pay: $27.00 plus (Based on your experience)

Schedule: 1st shift

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician (Level III) to join our team in Orrick, MO. This role is responsible for mold changes, machine setup and startup, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal production performance and part quality.

We will also consider highly qualified Level II candidates ready to grow into a Level III role.

Key Responsibilities

+ Set up and adjust molding machine parameters to produce quality parts

+ Perform mold changes efficiently, including robot setup and programming

+ Start up and shut down injection molding machines

+ Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions

+ Ensure machines are running at optimal cycle times and efficiency

+ Set up auxiliary and secondary equipment as required

+ Train operators on production processes, quality standards, and output expectations

+ Assist with new tool setup and process development/documentation

+ Perform basic machine maintenance

+ Replace mold components such as inserts, springs, ejector pins, and fittings

+ Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move and install molds

+ Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts

+ Follow all safety and quality standards

+ Support production needs as required

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required

+ Minimum 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience (injection molding preferred)

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Experience with mold setup, process adjustments, and machine operation

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Physical & Work Environment

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

+ Prolonged standing and walking on a manufacturing floor

+ Exposure to machinery, forklifts, and varying temperatures

+ Moderate to loud noise environment

+ Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
