Delivers the Landmark National Bank commitment To be champions and catalysts for our communities by delivering the technical skill training for frontline bank staff, retail operations training. The Retail Banking Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that support the development of retail banking employees. This role ensures frontline staff possess the knowledge, skills, and regulatory understanding necessary to provide excellent customer service, maintain operational compliance, and support the bank’s sales and service objectives.
The trainer partners with branch leadership to strengthen employee performance in areas such as deposit products, consumer lending, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and operational procedures.

Training Development
- Design and develop training programs for retail banking staff including tellers, personal bankers, assistant bank managers and bank managers.
- Create programs and curriculum to include full training calendar, training manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules related to retail banking operations and consumer lending.
- Update training materials to reflect new products, policies, regulatory requirements, and system changes.
Training Delivery
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions for new hires and existing retail staff.
- Conduct onboarding training for new branch employees.
- Deliver training related to customer service, sales techniques, leadership and management training, operations, regulations and relationship building.
- Provide training on core banking systems and digital banking tools.
Performance Support
- Observe branch operations and provide coaching to improve service quality and operational accuracy.
- Work with Bank Managers and Assistant Bank Managers to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Provide follow-up coaching and reinforcement training.
Program Evaluation
- Track and measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Maintain training records and documentation.
- Recommend improvements to training programs based on outcomes and business needs.
