Compensation: 

  • Hourly Pay Range: $22.16 – $25.68

Position Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary:    

The Oversight & Compliance Analyst position (K0240473) provides program oversight for the Medicaid Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) program, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements. Develop and execute program plans, timelines, and budgets. Translate EVV regulations and policy into operational guidance, business rules, and program expectations. Oversee EVV program compliance, monitoring, and corrective action processes. Serve as the primary programmatic point of contact for EVV across internal divisions, MCOs, and external stakeholders. Lead provider program guidance and issue resolution related to EVV requirements. Analyze EVV data for programmatic trends and policy impacts. Coordinate EVV-related policy updates, new services, system adoption, and program expansions. Support federal reporting and audit readiness related to EVV. Capture and report on overall EVV benefits in transaction efficiencies, elimination of waste, fraud and abuse.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: 


  • Manage the Outreach, Prevention and Early Intervention (OPEI) grants/contracts which include analysis of and processing invoices and ensuring state and federal regulations are followed. 

  • Be the agency ‘expert’ on OPEI grants.

 

Qualifications



  • Education:  
    • High School, GED
  • Licensing & Certification:

    • Valid Driver’s License – Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver’s license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.   

  • Minimum Qualifications:  

    • One year of experience in planning, organizing and directing the work of a department, program or agency.  Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
  • Preferred Qualifications:  


    • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

    • Proofreading, editing, attention to detail

    • Advanced analytical skills and problem solving

    • Experience with and knowledge of the Kansas Medicaid Program.

    • Ability to manage competing priorities

    • Interpret regulations

    • Experience/Knowledge of EVV

    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

    • Analyze data and present in clear and concise reports

    • Experience in KMMS and the data warehouse
