Job Description
We are open to accepting applications for both APRN’s and PA’s for our opening.
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you’ll work alongside physicians to deliver direct care to patients with serious and persistent mental illnesses. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients, helping them manage both their mental and physical health.
What You’ll Do:
+ Provide high-quality care to individuals with behavioral health needs
+ Take health histories, perform psychiatric and physical exams, and develop care plans
+ Prescribe medications in line with Missouri regulations and supervising physician guidelines
+ Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
+ Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions and care provided
+ Support ongoing improvements in care quality, efficiency, and patient safety
+ Act as a friendly and respectful representative of our team to patients and families
+ Stay up to date on industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
+ A degree from an accredited PA program
+ Completion of a 1-year Psychiatry PA residency (or equivalent experience)
+ National PA Certification (NCCPA)
+ Psychiatry specialty certification
+ Missouri PA licensure
+ A passion for continuous learning and professional development
As a Senior APRN , you’ll deliver expert, compassionate primary care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Working closely with physicians and a collaborative care team, you’ll assess patients, diagnose conditions, create treatment plans, and provide both medical care as indicated. This role also includes occasional on-call duties and coverage beyond your primary area when needed. You’ll bring advanced skills in mental health, health promotion, patient education, and medical management-making a meaningful impact every day.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing
+ Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri
+ Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification
+ Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.
+ Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
+ Current BCLS verification
+ Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice
+ Demonstrates leadership ability
+ 3-5 years clinical experience
