PURPOSE OF POSITION: Work in Retail warehouse to support and provide all needed materials for efficient processing and donations management. To fulfill Goodwill’s mission statement.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Retail Supervisor
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with individuals who have disabilities and or barriers to employment and participate in the achievement of their goals. Demonstrate a positive, role model. Display commitment and involvement towards Goodwill's mission.
JOB PROFICIENCIES: Action Oriented Customer Focus, Ethics and Trust, Oral Communications, Cooperation, Integrity, Initiative, Job Knowledge, Quality, Teamwork, Accuracy, Adaptability, Dependability, Product Knowledge, Safety and Security.
JOB COMPETENCIES: To work in Retail warehouse to support and provide all needed materials for efficient processing and donations management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Stock donations as needed at all processing stations for ongoing efficiency.
- Sort Gaylord contents into bins as needed for Production.
- Remove all trash from areas of the warehouse to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Breakdown boxes as needed for recycle.
- Work with Door Attendants and unload materials from truck as needed.
- Take process merchandise to sales floor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to all safety policies and report violations.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and confidentiality of records.
- Support mission statement and activities of other departments. Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environment and financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to persons with disabilities and barriers to employment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Attendance and punctuality.
- Quality and quantity of work performed.
- Attitude and overall effectiveness of working relations with all stakeholders.
- The manner in which duties and responsibilities, essential functions and job competencies are performed.
- Support and value diversity.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
- Lift -- push/pull while standing - up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Sometimes over 100 pounds.
- Carry -- push/pull while moving - up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Sometimes up to 100 pounds.
