Job Description
The Teacher is defined as one whose primary concern is to maintain a positive learning environment and the improvement of learning opportunities for students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate student curriculum needs
- Tutor to engage students in ongoing learning
- Demonstrate de-escalation behaviors
- Address challenging behaviors as they arise to maintain a positive learning environment
- Manage multiple student needs
- Assist with setting academic goals for students, including monitoring and provision of educational needs
- Contact parents and assure all communications regarding students are documented
- Work with volunteers and assist with any problems or questions
