Job Description
At Amcor, you will serve as primary point of contact and leverage expertise for machines and automation within their assigned focus region. A qualified candidate is a motivated technical expert that works with and advises production, tool room, engineers, scheduling, and customers on the best methods and standard operating procedures. This role is for a leader in using attention to detail in the collection, interpretation, and recommendations of data driven decisions to resolve root cause problems, meet deadlines, and improve processes.Responsibilities

Coordinate and direct preventative maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Injection molding and automation systems.

Manage day to day operations of assigned product lines, for a 24/7 manufacturing facility.

Gather and analyze pertinent statistical data for assigned product lines in order to develop and execute production plan to ensure customer orders are met.

Collaborate with other teams (production, maintenance, tooling, etc.) and/or other appropriate leadership to leverage and focus departmental capabilities for effective application of resources.

Liaison with customer representatives to communicate performance metrics, manage and alleviate Customers concerns with applicable corrective actions.

Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to improve safety, efficiency and reduce costs.

Tracks cost savings of implemented projects and efficiency improvements.

Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department of health requirements.
