Job Description
- CITY TREASURER
- This is a part-time position
- Keep financial records and supervise management of funds;
- Co-sign all checks of the city;
- Keep accurate account/records of expenses and receipts;
- Assist auditors as required;
- Prepare and provide monthly treasurers report for Mayor and Council;
- Reconcile financial records monthly;
- Receive payments from the public when needed;
- Greet the public and answer the phone;
- Be available to maintain office hours in City Clerks absence;
- Assist City Clerk when needed;
- Performs other duties as directed by the City Mayor. The Council may direct by going through the Mayor.
