Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler with soldering experience to join a growing manufacturing team in Lenexa, KS. This position is perfect for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on assembly work and takes pride in producing high-quality electrical components. Electrical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble electrical components and subassemblies according to detailed schematics and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to accurately install wiring, connectors, and electronic parts
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to ensure correct assembly processes
- Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other measurement tools to verify circuit integrity and functionality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations while adhering to safety protocols during all assembly activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to electrical wiring, component placement, or mechanical fit
Electrical Assembler Requirements:
- Prior experience with assembly, soldering, cable and wire harness assembly
- Electrical experience including testing with ohmmeters or multimeters; familiarity with power tools is beneficial
- Experience working with IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, schematics, and the use of hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, and wire strippers
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical components and assembly processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise assembly work
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels, ranging from quiet to extremely loud
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling small electronic parts
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
