Job Description

Kansas Paving is seeking an Experienced walk behind Concrete and Asphalt saw operator. The qualified applicant must be able to work in all kinds of weather and work as a team. The Concrete Saw Operator is responsible for operating a walk behind concrete saw to make clean and accurate cuts on pavement as directed. Will require the ability to repair or assist in changing blades of machinery using hand tools and power tools.

Typical Duties:

Under the direction of the saw foreman, operate walk behind saw efficiently.

Must be able to bring saw blade up to speed while keeping it straight.

Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Must be able to conduct post cut inspections.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of saw blades and safety.

Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must maintain work area / equipment in clean and hazard-free condition.

Must have a valid Kansas Driver License.
