Job Description

Job Purpose and Objectives: Assist in the operation and support of Public Safety and related County technology. Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and support Public Safety applications, network equipment, servers, storage, telephony, radios, building security systems, and related infrastructure. Monitor systems to ensure availability to Public Safety agencies and respond to alerts, outages, and performance issues during regular and after-hours, including weekends. Coordinate with Public Safety agencies, vendors, and IT staff to support system reliability, issue resolution, projects, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures, including KBI KCJIS requirements.
