This position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Quality Department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the quality of the materials to ensure specifications have been met.
- Monitor operations and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications and relay any imperfections to management.
- Examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut and conformity.
- Verify trueness of structure.
- Follow standard operational procedures.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
