Job Description
Job Summary:
Jakes Fireworks is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our growing team in Pittsburg, Kansas. This position will primarily focus on maintaining and repairing trailers, including both swing-out and roll-up doors. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in diagnosing and repairing trailer components, including air brakes, air lines, electrical systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailer components and systems, including but not limited to:
- Doors (swing-out and roll-up)
- Air brakes and air lines
- Electrical systems and wiring
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all equipment is in safe and reliable operating condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on trailers.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the transportation team to prioritize and complete work orders.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
