Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical care, with experience in various healthcare settings. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, including those from medical-surgical, clinic, emergency medicine, PICU, hospital medicine, OR, and level II trauma centers.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
