Inside Sales Associate
Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Associate serves as a central point of contact for customers and internal operations, ensuring orders are accurately processed, fulfilled, and delivered on time. This role combines customer service, order management, production coordination, and logistics oversight to support efficient business operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming customer calls and emails, providing product information, pricing, and order support.

Accurately enter and process customer orders in the system, ensuring all specifications and requirements are captured.

Coordinate with production/shop personnel to track order progress and ensure timely completion.

Monitor and communicate order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Source and procure necessary materials required to fulfill each order, working with vendors as needed.

Manage shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling shipments, preparing documentation, and verifying inbound materials.

Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or issues in a proactive and professional manner.

Maintain organized records of orders, inventory, and customer communications.

Support continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or order processing preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.

Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP software, or order management platforms is a plus.

Basic understanding of shipping logistics and material procurement.

Work Environment:
This position operates in an office environment with regular interaction with shop/production personnel and warehouse operations.
