Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Comp Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage services, ensuring high-quality service, managing staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for department training ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable of the in service standards and food safety regulations.
  • Creates and posts department employee schedules, accepts or declines time off requests, and approves department employee hours at the end of each week.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the department - including breakfast service and a once-a-week evening social provided for the guests.
  • Ensures excellent customer service by engaging with guests, listening to suggestions and/or needs, and providing solutions for problems as they arise.
  • Conducts continuous inventory of the kitchen items to satisfy daily needs.
  • Codes out all expired and damaged goods for kitchen and Suite Shop.
  • Administers monthly inventory practices on kitchen and Suite Shop items to be reported to the General Manager and Director of Operations.
  • Responsible for ordering breakfast food and beverages, as well as food and beverage for the once-a-week evening guest social.
  • Creates daily breakfast and once-a-week evening guest social menus making sure to meet standards and guidelines.
  • Manages the budget for the food and beverage department, forecasting future needs.
  • Ensures that all food safety standards and requirements are met, including assigning and tracking all food and beverage courses for required employees.
  • Responsible for invoicing customers and clients for all hotel needs.
  • Tracks all credit card authorizations and other pertinent information required.
  • Maintains the kiosk operations at the Suite Shop - coding items, tracking employee training on the system, and troubleshooting.
  • Resolves issues that relate to taxes and any other discrepancies that could be attached to guest invoices.
  • Manages and tracks all gift certificates used by guests - sending appropriate reports and information to the General Manager.

Supervisor experience and general accounting understanding preferred.
