Insight Global is seeking a Software Application Engineer to work a hybrid schedule in Lenexa, KS. This person will be joining a dynamic team of 12 developers to design, program and maintain the clients proprietary automation software using C/C++. Additionally, this candidate will be using SQL Server to query, extract and update data within the system. The role consists of partnering with the support, development, and engineering teams to support the clients application. The ideal candidate will have a history of full stack development and industry in the oil and gas industry. This position is looking to start ASAP and will be providing a salary of $75,100 to $120,000 based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years experience developing applications in C or C+Experience with MS visual studio 2012Experience with SQL Server 2012Ability to query, extract, and update data in SQL Server

Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering, or applicable degree Understanding of C#

History of fullstack development

DevOps Experience

Azure cloud experience

Experience in the Oil and gas industry
