Job Description
Hours: 7:30am-4pm
We are searching for skilled sit-down Forklift Operators for a role we have located in Kansas City, MO! This company offers room for growth, on-the-job training in overhead crane, and a healthy benefits package once hired. This is also a Union company. Shipping Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain required quality and quantity of parts being processed or handled
- Adapt to quickly changing schedules and priorities while still making deadlines
- Manage a high level of detail in the context of shipping orders including international loads
- Use a variety of tools to package or crate product (not limited to air and hand banders, nail gun, power saws)
- Pull product from various locations (inside and outside)
- Recognize a wide variety of part numbers per location
- Manage shipping warehouse organization and safe storage of items
- Report incorrect part weights or inventory balances
- Assist product being loaded in department as needed
- Use a barcode gun, computer and log sheet to report movement of inventory, complete quality checklist(s) and loading documents
