Temp-to-hire position

Responsible for operation of process line, as assigned. Requires ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external customers.

·      Processes material through the anodize line by efficient use of overhead cranes, with minimum supervision.

·      Produces on going line efficiency through timing of customer loads against maximizing process tank usage.

·      Understands and is proficient in the operation of all tank procedures, process tank temperatures, running charts for # 1 & # 2 anodize tanks, special running instructions, proper rinse procedures, seal times and tanks for different finishes.

·      Maintains required paperwork and process logs.

·      Cleans anodize and etch tanks in his/her charge per specified schedule.

·      Responsible for proper care, safe and proper use of all tools, equipment and material used in the performance of required duties.

·      Reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to Supervisor.

·      Keeps work area clean.

·      Performs other functions in the department, such as racking, un-racking, and oven operation.

·      Abides by all safety rules and regulations outlined in company policies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving parts and is regularly exposed to anodizing chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
