Float Medical Assistant- Parsons Category:Clinic

Status:Full-time
Description:This role is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, performing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Location: Primary base in Parsons, with travel to other clinics as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and document patient vitals, medical history, and symptoms.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection.
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required.
- CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire.
