Position: Card Services Specialist Department: Card Services Location: Wichita, KS (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time/Hourly Jump start your career at Equity Bank! Responsibilities and Expectations- Responsible for processing new Debit and Credit Card orders, card maintenance, review and process weekly and monthly card reports
- Responsible for receiving, preparing, processing and posting all credit card applications and increase requests ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and posted in a timely manner in compliance with established policies and procedures
- Responsible for responding to and resolving internal and external customer inquiries regarding debit and credit card accounts in a friendly, professional and prompt manner
- Responsible for processing payments, adjustments, return mail, balance transfers and other maintenance for credit cards
- Identify and report fraudulent transactions to MasterCard and networks, as appropriate
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends new procedures for the efficient and effective operation of the debit and credit card program. Works closely with MasterCard and vendors
- Stays up to date with fraud trends that may be taking place with debit and credit cards and escalates any noted trends to management as soon as possible. Maintains a working knowledge of all required card security features
- Assists with research of potential bin or card level breaches or fraud to ensure that the bank can take appropriate action when needed to limit losses and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Reviews and posts entries for Credit Card settlement daily
- Update Policy and Procedure on a regular basis to maintain current documents at all times
- Responsible for processing Debit and Credit Card disputes according to Reg E
- Actively cross trains with other members of the department to ensure that all duties of the department can be performed in the absence of one or more team members
- Must be organized and display attention to details
- Ability to self-motivate and prioritize tasks
- Self-starter who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to learn and comprehend new system processes
- Strong time management skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience at a financial institution in a position responsible for Debit and Credit Card accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with FIS Debit and Credit Card platform
