Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Maintains candidate data within company ATS
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job postings and hiring criteria
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization to meet hiring targets
- Actively sources talent to ensure a strong diverse candidate pool
- Facilitates job posting and advertisement processes
- Screens applications to ensure basic qualifications are met prior to sharing the candidates with hiring managers
- Schedules interviews; supports preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials to ensure legal compliance and timely candidate selection
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of recruiting experience (agency/corporate)
- Experience working in an ATS (Success Factors preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to influence others at all levels of organization, including change management mindset and experience
- Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
- Experience recruiting in a Manufacturing environment or Military background
