Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Food Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about industrial maintenance, possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, and thrive in a team-oriented setting.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Repair mechanical components using welding techniques specific to food industry standards and <LOCATION> welding practices
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades in compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct safety checks on high voltage systems and ensure all work adheres to OSHA standards
- Support field service operations by diagnosing equipment failures and implementing solutions promptly
