Job Description
Hours: 10:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday, Overtime as needed
We are seeking reliable candidates interested in 2nd shift opportunities in the Tiffany Springs, MO area. This Quality Inspector role is open to both order pickers and quality-focused candidates. Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Use Windows-based PC systems, including but not limited to email, shipping programs, and Axapta programs
- Perform quality checks on completed orders by reviewing items picked and verifying order accuracy against packing lists prior to shipment
- Pick parts from warehouse locations to fill customer orders using the packing list
- Use several types of material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, push carts, hand trucks, fork trucks, and RF barcode reading systems (only after training/certification for each)
- Pack parts in appropriate packaging for shipment
- Unload material from trucks using a fork truck and/or pallet jack
- Use a reach truck or stand-up forklift to pick orders (training provided on 1st shift if no prior experience)
- Verify received material against attached packing lists and place items in designated warehouse locations, including pallet racks, bin racks, and floor locations
- Build and produce kits according to production work orders in a timely and accurate manner to meet customer expectations and demand
- Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or by following blueprints
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- Continuous lifting or moving of lightweight materials 10-25 pounds; must be able to infrequently lift to 50 pounds
- Continuous bending, stretching, and walking on cement floors
- Previous reach truck or stand-up forklift experience is a plus
- Experience working with box cutter - will be using box cutters throughout shift
