Job Description
Our client is seeking a Photographer with Architecture experience to photograph a building in Olathe, Kansas. This photographer must be based in or near Olathe, Kansas. You will use your own equipment and a shot list will be provided. The shoot may take place between April 27th - May 1st with a week to deliver final files.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute architectural and interior photo shoots.
- Use professional camera systems, lenses, tripods, and lighting equipment to capture high-resolution images.
- Perform advanced post-processing and retouching in Photoshop and other editing software to correct perspective, exposure, color balance, and remove distractions while maintaining natural appearance.
- Deliver edited images in required formats and resolutions for print, web, and marketing use; maintain organized archives and backups of raw and final files.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years preferred) as an architectural or interior photographer with a portfolio demonstrating technical skill and aesthetic sensitivity.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and industry-standard raw processing workflows (e.g., Lightroom, Capture One).
- Strong photo retouching skills: perspective correction, exposure blending, object removal, color grading, and HDR processing.
- Deep understanding of photographic fundamentals: composition, exposure, lens choice, and lighting techniques for interiors and exteriors.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to interpret briefs and deliver work that matches creative and technical requirements.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
