Job Description
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including onboarding, employee record management, and providing general administrative support to the HR team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
• Organize and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth integration of new employees.
• Handle offboarding processes, including exit interviews and processing termination paperwork.
• Process new hire paperwork including I9 completion and follow-up and verifying payroll files in the HRIS system.
• Assist in tracking and reporting employee attendance, leave balances, and other HR metrics.
• Assists with benefit enrollment and self-service system support.
• Assists with the coordination and participation in site-specific activities, including wellness events, engagement events and other Company initiatives as requested.
• Responds to inquiries regarding payroll, general policies/procedures, and programs.
• Complete various Human Resource reports as requested.
• Process highly confidential information, maintaining and respecting confidentiality.
• Maintain Human Resource Communication boards throughout the facility .
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal applicable laws, update compliance postings as needed.
• Supports HR policies and procedures; maintains handbook on policies and procedures, change reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.
• Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
• Must adhere to all policies and procedures of the Distribution Center

• Ability to work overtime as required.
