Kiewit Engineering Group Inc, has a position in Lenexa, KS.
Project Scheduler - DUTIES:
Develop and maintain achievable resource-loaded logic-driven schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects. Develop schedule logic and realistic activity durations. Analyze available manpower and resources, commodity charts, trends, schedule variations, schedule performance and schedule forecast. Develop, maintain, and report schedule health metrics. Implement change controls process as needed. Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting. Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. Interface with clients and attend regular meetings and give schedule health status. Complete all work in compliance with site specific certified Earned Value Management System.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 6 years of experience. Also, 4 years of experience stated herein to involve: Primavera (P6) scheduling for an engineering or construction-related project. Finally, 3 years of experience to involve: (a) building engineering or construction schedules via the use of project documents, i.e. drawings, specs and contracts; (b) using data driven metrics to progress an engineering or construction project schedule by quantity management system and earned value management.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 4 years of experience stated herein to involve: Primavera (P6) scheduling for an engineering or construction-related project. Finally, 3 years of experience to involve: (a) building engineering or construction schedules via the use of project documents, i.e. drawings, specs and contracts; (b) using data driven metrics to progress an engineering or construction project schedule by quantity management system and earned value management.
