Job Description Summary:
The Department of Population Health seeks candidates of exceptional potential and emerging scholarship to apply for this part-time faculty position in Implementation Science. This is a senior-level faculty role responsible for providing high-level consultation, strategic guidance, and mentorship across research initiatives. This position supports the development, refinement, and implementation of proposed projects, with particular emphasis on implementation science frameworks and strategies, study design, clinical implementation and sustainability, and measurement.
This is a part-time faculty appointment. Effort will be determined based on program needs and may include regular consultation meetings, proposal and manuscript reviews, mentoring sessions, and participation in strategic planning and evaluation discussions.

Job Duties Outlined:
- Provide expert consultation on proposed and active research projects.
- Advise on the selection and application of appropriate implementation science research questions, study designs, frameworks, and outcomes.
- Offer guidance on clinical implementation strategies and informatic tools when applicable.
- Provide feedback on grant proposals, pilot applications, and project protocols.
- Participate in project development meetings, structured mentoring sessions, and trainings.
- Contribute to building institutional core services in implementation science.

Work Environment:
- This position will be part-time at .15 FTE.
- This position will be a senior faculty rank position (Associate or Full Professor).
Required Qualifications:
Education: Doctorate, MD, or equivalent, with research experience in population health.
- This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Work Experience:
- Established record of scholarship in implementation science or closely related fields.
- Record of successful grant funding and mentorship of investigators.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work Experience:
- Experience as a clinician-scientist.
- Experience serving as a methodological consultant on funded research projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary research settings.
