Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Process incoming group sales requests through web forms, email, and phone channels.
- Qualify inbound leads to understand guest needs and determine appropriate event options.
- Book group events accurately in the Event Booking Management System and ensure all required details are captured.
- Direct guests to the appropriate department when inquiries are not related to group sales.
- Obtain programming and operations approvals when required.
- Support theatre teams by entering clear, detailed event notes and providing follow-up communication as needed.
- Collect event payments no later than seven days prior to the scheduled event date.
- Manage phone lines and route calls appropriately.
- Prioritize and execute tasks efficiently to meet service expectations and deadlines.
- Provide flexible support to guest service traffic and other sales needs during non-peak times or staffing gaps
What we need from you:
- 1+ year(s) of customer service experience.
- 1+ year(s) of sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, primarily Excel.
- Effectively negotiate terms while communicating clearly and professionally with guests and internal partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes as business needs evolve.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
What we also value (preferred):
- Experience booking or coordinating events.
- Knowledge of group sales processes and theatre operations.
- Familiarity with event booking or internal reporting systems.
- Ability to balance overall business objectives with detailed execution.
- Flexibility to support other sales or operational tasks during periods of increased demand.
