About This Role
The Office Specialist III in the Alan Levin Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering assists with daily functions in the department's main office. Duties included, but not limited to, maintaining departmental inventory, coordinating with faculty and staff to purchase supplies, materials, and equipment on a Concur Expense Card, and serving as an assistant to the department head.

The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering is located on the main Kansas State campus in Manhattan, KS. Manhattan is a vibrant family-oriented city in the scenic Flint Hills. It is the cultural and business hub of a tri-county area community of over 200,000 residents (see www.manhattan.org).
Worksite Description
This position is On-site. This position is eligible for flex time, which consists of working 9 hours for 4 days and working 4 hours on the 5th day. This is coordinated with another position in the office.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of relevant experience
Sponsorship eligibility:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
