Job Description
Position Description: The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the Pastor, Program Staff, Session, Deacons and Program Committees at First Presbyterian Church.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers the telephone, receives visitors, and makes referrals.
- Assists in the preparation and/or mailing of newsletters and bulletins.
- Updates membership database as needed using ACS program.
- Administers church and office calendars.
- Provides general administrative support to the Pastor, Program Staff and Committees, including but not limited to typing, filing, copying, and handling mail.
- Other duties as assigned by the Pastor/Head of Staff.
