To be a successful Lead On-Call Coordinator you must become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Provide quality customer service to all internal and external customers (via phone calls, e-mail, etc.).
- Provide on-call crisis response during designated shifts, on-call may respond to crisis by phone but may also require in-person assistance including transporting clients.
- Participate and complete Trauma Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and trauma informed training to stay current on assisting caregivers with high needs children or behaviors of concern.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
- Assist in training new staff members and be a resource to assist existing staff.
- Ensure all on-call functions and processes are executed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Placement team and ensure after-hours communication for placement and/or on-call functions are provided in a timely manner.
- Crisis support for Intake & Admissions department.
- Assist with tasks when the On Call Supervisor is absent.
- Serve in the On Call Supervisor rotation.
