Compensation:



  • Annual Salary Range:  $89,232.00 to $91,462.80
  • Hourly Pay Range:  $42.90 to $43.97

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

This Professional Civil Engineer I position is located in Topeka, at the Eisenhower State Office Building, and is within the Bureau of Traffic Engineering.  This position manages the permanent signing unit supervising engineering technicians. Is responsible for the design and review of permanent signing plans to keep projects on schedule, addressing initiatives involving permanent signing, implementing policies, and responding to requests from the public. Administers the program for federal aid high performance signing projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • Professional Engineering license 

  • Valid Drivers License at time of appointment.
