Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities- Steer large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently.
- Lead and mentor project teams, overseeing their work, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
- Provide strategic insight to projects, identifying opportunities, potential challenges, and innovative solutions to optimize outcomes.
- Oversee budget allocations, resource utilization, and expenses, ensuring projects adhere to financial constraints.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with stakeholders, presenting project status, updates, and potential roadblocks.
- Utilize your experience to identify, assess, and manage project risks, adapting strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and manage complex project schedules, coordinating activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Deliver clear and concise project reports, highlighting progress, milestones, and areas requiring attention.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of hands-on experience in Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related role, demonstrated substantial leadership responsibilities
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Master's degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- PMP certification or its equivalent.
- Experience collaborating with Federal Government clients.
- A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $100M.
- A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
