Job Description
Position Summary
Drivers are responsible for transporting Verus materials across pre-assigned routes for pickups and deliveries of products to customers, third party vendors, and company sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs daily vehicle maintenance and maintains clean delivery vehicles to display a professional and organized delivery
- Ensures proper handling, operating and maintenance of all trucks and equipment in a manner that will avoid staff injury or damage to the vehicle, equipment or merchandise
- A solid work ethic, ability to work independently as a self-starter, and reliable team player
- Ability to provide direction, and maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work throughout the week, day-shift schedule, weekends and holidays as required, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass DOT requirements, a
- Owner of safety for the area.
- All operators/visitors to area are following safety policy, wearing proper PPE, etc.
- General Physical Requirements: Standard physical requirements to include the ability to sit and stand for multiple hours at a time; Able to sit and stand for multiple hours at a time; Reaching walking; Pulling, pushing, lifting 75 lbs. or less; Atmospheric conditions, oils/coolants.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Other assignments as requested by management.

- Bending/Squatting: Frequently (lifting and placing product from the truck to the ground or from pallets to shelf)
- Lifting: Frequent- Lift 75 lbs. or less
- Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
- Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab of a truck
- Driving: Frequent travel as assigned
