Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities- Support in designing, developing, testing, and improving products, systems, or processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
- Prepare and analyze evaluation reports and discrepancies to make recommendations that improve productivity and quality to reduce flowtime.
- Interacts as a team with design agencies, suppliers and/or internal organizations under the guidance from experienced Engineers to assist in product realization.
- Participate in developing operating procedures, work instructions and inspection criteria on new products and components.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering, Physical Science or Physics
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to work on-site as directed by management
- United States Citizenship
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Experience in technical, scientific, quality, supply chain, and/or engineering fields
- Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with mathematical computations and computer software applications.
- Demonstrated established technical methodologies to routine engineering project.
