Hours: 7am-7:30pm

Operators will be responsible for running and monitoring injection molding machines, performing quality checks, assisting with machine setups and mold changes, and helping maintain efficient production. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO.
Machine Operator (Injection Molding) Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic components in compliance with production requirements
- Monitor machine performance, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal production rates and quality
- Perform routine inspections of molds, machines, and components to ensure proper operation and product quality
- Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications and standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with injection molding machines
- Assist in mold changes, setups, and machine adjustments to accommodate different production runs
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Document production data, including output rates, quality issues, and machine performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
Machine Operator (Injection Molding) Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a machine operator in an injection molding environment preferred
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- May involve lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Basic understanding of injection molding processes and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
