Administrative Assistant / Secretary Receptionist
SER Corporation – Wichita, Kansas
SER Corporation is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to support our leadership team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization. This position provides administrative support to the CEO/President, Executive Program Officer, and Accounting Department, while also serving as a key point of contact for visitors, partners, and community members.
We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working with multiple responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys helping teams stay organized, communicating with people, and managing office systems and information.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to executive leadership and program staff
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with meeting logistics
- Collect and organize staff timesheets and internal reports
- Take notes and maintain records of weekly and monthly staff meetings
- Assist with preparing documents, reports, and presentations
- Help coordinate Board of Directors meetings and prepare meeting materials
- Maintain organized digital files using cloud storage systems
- Serve as the primary front desk contact by greeting visitors and answering phone calls
- Manage general office emails and respond or direct inquiries appropriately
- Post job announcements, events, and updates on the company website and social media
- Assist with basic website updates and maintain information on the organization’s webpage
- Help create flyers, newsletters, or informational materials when needed
- Provide general administrative assistance to accounting and program staff
- Assist customers with basic office services such as job applications, resumes, or document support when needed
- Perform other related duties that support the organization’s operations
Qualifications We Are Looking For
We welcome candidates with education, experience, or a combination of both.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Office Management, or a related field (helpful but not required)
- Experience working in an administrative, office support, or customer service role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable using cloud-based file systems such as OneDrive, SharePoint, or Google Drive
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Good writing and communication skills
- Ability to take clear meeting notes and maintain organized documentation
- Basic knowledge of website updates (WordPress or similar) is helpful
- Experience creating simple flyers or materials using tools like Canva or similar programs is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
