Program Fidelity Analyst - Administration - Corrections

Job Description

This position monitors, evaluates, and supports program implementation to ensure programs are being delivered as intended to promote behavior change and maintain public safety.   Serves as a Primary investigator for internal investigations.   Focuses on ensuring that programs and interventions are implemented with fidelity according to their design and evidence-based standards.

 

Program Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Initiate observations of service delivery, review documentation, and analyze data to ensure alignment with program goals. Utilize standardized fidelity tools, checklists, and rating scales to measure adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Perform on-site or virtual assessments of program delivery for internal programs and external service providers.  Assessments may include interviewing key stakeholders during the process.
  • Coordinate with DOC Communications Specialist regarding strategies to present data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide support to departmental programs by reviewing compliance to policy and procedure. Report findings to supervisory staff, administrators, or other stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports to summarize observations, highlight strengths, identify areas for elevation and guide system improvements.   

 

Internal department investigations

  • Serves as a neutral party to complete internal department investigations, which may include PREA investigations.  Information gathered during investigations may identify the need to evaluate specific program elements. 
  • Conducts structured interviews to collect accurate information and effectively documents the outcome.
  • Completes Investigative Summary report and responds to the Sexual Abuse Review Board corrective actions for all PREA investigations.
  • Provide investigation findings to PREA Coordinator or applicable supervisor.
  • Maintain complete investigation documents for record keeping based on retention schedule.

 

Continuous Quality Improvement

  • Collaborate with Program Coordinators and Senior Managers to develop quality improvement plans based on fidelity results.
  • Provide coaching, training, or technical assistance to staff and/or service providers to enhance program fidelity.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports for leadership, stakeholders, service providers and funding agencies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on fidelity standards and evaluation methods.
