Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: This is a part-time non-exempt position. The employee in this position performs general office and organizational tasks to ensure smooth program function, and supports communications, volunteer engagement, and program operations by creating newsletters and social media content, conducting research, managing data and case files, and assisting with recruitment and appreciation efforts.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Answer phones and direct calls to needed parties
- Copy and scan materials as needed
- Filing documents and reports
- Type letters and correspondence
- Create and distribute a monthly CASA volunteer newsletter
- Compile and maintain CASA calendar of events and hearings
- Assist with organizing donations, supplies, and materials
- Maintain advocate birthday and anniversary calendar
- Light office cleaning such as vacuuming and dusting
DATA ENTRY
- Enter volunteer inquiries and activities into database
- Assist with case-related data collection and entry
- Maintain accurate list of in-service opportunities and participation
- Enter and track volunteer hours and mileage
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
